Clarence W. Hall said “You can put truth in a grave but it won’t stay there.” That is so true.
Jesus was placed in a grave with hopes of banishing the truth forever. To their greatest surprise and to the amazement of everyone, he came back to life and came out of the grave, defeating death, man’s greatest enemy!
Jesus did that to demonstrate to the world that He is unique and in a category all by himself.
The resurrection is the single greatest proof that Jesus is who the Bible says he is and that He did what the Bible says he did!
I pray that during this time, you will take time to think about your life, think about your relationship with Jesus, and think about where you want to spend eternity.
The Bible says “Give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus” (1 Thessalonians 5:18)
However, we understand it can be difficult to give thanks when there’s been a shutdown; some people have been laid off work or furloughed; and SNAP benefits have been cut or delayed.
As a church, we have decided to come alongside those families that may be in need during this Thanksgiving season. We want to provide up to 80 turkeys to up to 80 families in our community. First come, first served.

I’m delighted to announce that we are starting a new outreach ministry it is called Ndamba. Ndamba.org‘s mission is to advance the gospel of Jesus Christ by offering kids aged 4-12 the opportunity to play soccer for FREE.
After taking note that a lot of kids from economically challenged homes are often left out of competitive soccer, I shared the idea of Ndamba with a few friends and 6 of us came together and formed Ndamba.org.
Our first games are scheduled to take place on Sunday, July 27, 2025 at 7:00 PM at the Recreation Center at Lake Church, Arlington, TX. Please come out and support us if you are in the area.
As an approved 501(c)3 organization, we rely on the generosity of donors to fund our activities. We especially need help given that it’s free for kids and their families to participate. Please visit the Donate page to learn more about how you can help and how your donation will be used. Thank you.
